Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park

Iron Mountain Hot Springs

Just a 10 minute walk away is Glenwood Spring’s newest hot spot, Iron Mountain Hot Springs.  Enjoy 16 mineral hot springs soaking pools and a freshwater family pool with a jetted spa.  All are located alongside the Colorado River, just across from the base of the tram at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, with Rocky Mountain views that soothe and inspire.

Hanging Lake

This year-round trail is located about ten miles east of Glenwood Springs. Hanging Lake is a crystal-clear, turquoise blue lake that is a short, steep, but rewarding hike that starts in Glenwood Canyon. This glacially formed lake offers stunning waterfalls that descend into a travertine lake full of trout and crystal clear water.

Yampah Spa & Vapor Caves

The underground vapor-filled caverns at the Yampah Spa and Vapor Caves were originally used by the Ute Indians for both healing and rituals. The Yampah Vapor Caves are one of only a few known natural vapor caves in North America.

Ski & Snowboard

Skiing and snowboarding options include six world-class ski resorts all within a 40-minute drive from Glenwood Springs: Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass. To the east, there’s Vail and Beaver Creek.
